Challenge:
Secure a venue and meeting details for a program occurring during peak season (October 2005) in Washington, DC with approximately one month lead time.
EPG Impact:
Because of the strong relationships EPG enjoys within the meeting industry, we tapped our contacts to quickly and efficiently solicit for available space during the early October timeframe. Given the popularity of the Washington, DC region, it is fairly difficult to locate space even with a long lead time, especially during peak seasons. However, EPG worked closely with our contacts to not only locate space over our chosen dates, but we also secured the desired breakout space and negotiated a sleeping room block at the government per diem rate.
In addition, we managed the sleeping room block, secured food and beverage arrangements, identified and orchestrated the audiovisual arrangements and provided on-site management.
